Where Is the Darkness When You Need It?

The sky's clear this evening. Cloud cover is minimal and that means the stars should be available for sight.

But as in Singapore, everywhere is illuminated with lights in the night that the skies seemed encased by it. The only visible celestial object in the sky this evening that can be seen decently with your naked eye is the moon. It is waxing gibbous (half moon) and shining in all its glory near the head of Scorpius, and to the right of Antares.

Still waiting in anticipation for the C80ED to arrive and the wait is really killing me! :-P
