Dawn at All Saints...
In about 1/2 hour from now, Orion would be high enough in the skies to view it decently and clearly with the scope. I have been exploring this constellation and its surrounding stars that promise the location of M42 and other nebulas and deep sky objects.
So far, it has been a bit of hit and miss due to the cloudy and drizzly conditions lately due to the rains and the scattered clouds that obscure the skies now and then. The other problem is the street lamps in the vicinity that increase the light pollution and make seeing through the scope rather difficult. :-P
May just stay up till around 3 am or so, to see if I can catch Saturn during the early dawn. That's a big maybe!... I wonder if it is discernible enough even with the Barlow 3x? Would I even be awake by then to be able to find out? ;-)
