Lunatic

Success!

Using the Orion Star Shoot CCD Imager, I finally got a shot off the moon this evening, just before midnight as it sets in the sky. :-)

I shot it with Light Mono 2x2 at 0.5 secs. The night had earlier rained and the clouds were scattered in the night sky. However, the clouds were still a hindrance to star gazing but that cleared much more towards midnight and Orion showed itself.

But the moon shot was what I came to do tonight and I wasn't disappointed! I must have been quite a figure running around the carpark of the church, in my bermudas, and wearing a white sweater lugging the equipment in the middle of the night when all sane persons would be tucked into bed and sleeping away... me, a lunatic! ;-)
