Stars Galore!

Went to do some star gazing with Fr Paul over OLPS this evening. Wasn't disappointed. Saw the brightest one in the sky and started tracking it. I was rewarded with the sight of Jupiter and her 4 moons all in a row!

With a sight like that, all the world's problems and mine seem miniscule compare to the awe and grandeur that is the universe! I tracked that planet for about two hours as it moved downwards towards the western horizon. Even the gaseous cloud bands of Jupiter was quite prominent from such a distance to the telescope which picked up the image.

There were some clouds scurrying along which temporary blocked the sight a while but overall it was a grand view of the skies. The binoculars were also used to gaze up to the constellations which twinkled the sight of Scorpio and Sagittarius. Amazing!

On the way back, I borrowed the binocs from Fr Paul and promised to take good care of it while I use it for some excellent night out of star gazing from my premises. It's going to be out of this world! Literally! :-)
