The Dog

Captured image of the brightest star in the sky these nights that usually sits along with the constellation Orion - Sirius, otherwise known as the Dog Star! Got this early this morning around 2+ a.m.

I just realised also that I have a picture of the night skyfor the constellation Orion that lay out the following sight and direction of the Messier objects: M31, M34, M45, M42, M41, M37, M36, M38, M35. I will check them out later tonight or when they are high in the skies and visible in the early morning of the next day! ;-)

Still figuring out how to work the star tracking thingy on my computerised mount so that I can get a good a picture like those linked here. There is also the more immediate problem of getting a good alignment and put that in place... :-P

Hopefully it will be clear skies, as clear as it can provide!
